(Update) Police ID Body Pulled From Shallow Water In Salisbury

Update: Authorities identified the man that was pulled from the ocean Tuesday morning as Xhoi Docnoka, 28, of Seabrook.

Original: The body of a man was found floating face down in the ocean early Tuesday morning, July 25, in Salisbury, authorities said.

The man's name is being withheld until authorities reach his next of kin.

A person walking on the beach around 1 a.m. near 4 Ocean Front Drive found the body and called 911. Police said the man was found floating in ankle-deep water.

The Salisbury Police Department and the Essex County District Attorney are investigating the case. No cause of death has been determined.
